Avarc Architects Ltd is a private Finnish architectural firm specializing in construction planning. Avarc collaborates with Finnish and international partners in Finland and elsewhere in Europe. Our work is based on quality-conscious architecture in various design areas.

Our architectural vision aims for timelessness and sustainability. Technically, ecologically, and visually feasible quality is what we consider to be our areas of expertise. Life cycle thinking and functionality are our main principles.
 

The common areas of ITIS Shopping Centre will be renovated and redesigned extensively during the years 2022-2024. Avarc Architects has been serving as the main designer for the commercial space modifications and maintenance of the shopping center since 2012.
The restoration, renovation, and interior design of the protected national heritage site from the 1840s, located in front of Helsinki Market Square.
Constructed originally in 1885 for accommodation, ceremonial, and auxiliary spaces for the Uusimaa Sniper Battalion's staff. The complex, which covers half a block and consists of four buildings, has been transformed into an exceptionally high-quality hotel even by Nordic standards.
Avarc Architects designed the comprehensive renovation of a protected 1930s functionalist office and commercial building, while preserving the architectural features.
Three 8 story residential buildings being completed in Vuosaari, Helsinki is an example of construction aimed at revitalizing and improving suburbs.
Azorienkuja 1 is an 8 story apartment building complex located in Jätkäsaari, consisting of 74 apartments. The project also includes an underground parking facility serving the entire block.
The housing complex implemented in Kuusisaari Helsinki, represents high-quality, clear-lined, and timeless residential architecture of the 2020s.
The main building of the protected property originally used as the Alko training center, located in the beach area of Vilsandinkuja in Vuosaari, was converted for use as a care home. The project is a successful example of renovating a modern and protected building type as the purpose of use changes.
